A KIND PEOPLE

Back in November, I wrote an article titled, 'Remember When'. The idea was spurred by the anniversary of the assassination of JFK. Many people of our generation remember where we were and what we were doing when we heard of the death of the President.

The country truly mourned the passing of JFK, and many, wrote letters of condolence to the young bride...the first lady...that he left behind.

Now, nearly 50 years later, many of those letters have been found and traced back to the sender and a new book it out that shares the letters...and the emotions felt by the writers...and the people they represented.

A few of the comments are listed in this article.

We are a caring people. When we are down...some people turn into the most amazing human beings.

I hope I'm one of them.
