Imagine that something you did...unknowingly to you...made lots of money for someone else. In rare cases...millions of dollars. In at least one case...billions of dollars.
Would you feel like you deserved a portion of those proceeds? Why should others benefit from something you did, while you or your loved ones continue to struggle financially?
When patients have surgeries, they sign a form that releases their rights to the tissue removed. It can then be used for whatever means desired.
