PEER PRESSURE BRANDING?

A TCU student agreed to let his friends 'brand' his butt with a clotheshanger.

Question: Was there alcohol involved?
Answer: Duh!

Question: Think his parents were proud?
Answer: He was an "IVY"...a 'fourth'...meaning there was an Amon Carter...Amon Carter Jr....Amon Carter III...and 'IVY'. I'm sure the 3 generations before would be a little unhappy with his decision.

Question: Think he came 'from money'?
Answer: My guess is YES. I would say anyone who is a IV...has money that he never earned...more than we will likely ever have.

Question: Think he needs new friends?
Answer: Well the ones he has...surely wouldn't be considered REAL friends. Would you heat up a coat hanger to red hot...and stick it onto one of 'your friends' skin? I don't think we'd do that to an ENEMY...let alone a friend.

Peer pressure can be a bad thing.

Challenging someone to be better...is one thing. Pressure to do something to hurt someone else or yourself...that's just plain BULLYING.

IVY needs help from someone. Hope he gets it.
